Royal Oak-based law firm Howard & Howard has donated $12,500 to the Michigan Warriors Hockey Program. Founded in 2014, the Program is a non-profit which provides disabled veterans the opportunity to play hockey while helping them to improve their mental and physical health.
“This generous gift from Howard & Howard will enable us to take a team to the 2019 Toyota-USA Hockey Disabled Hockey Festival held in Wesley Chapel, Florida in late March,” said Michigan Warriors CEO and President Josh Krajewski.
The donation is part of the Howard & Howard’s “12 Months of Giving” initiative, a year-long charitable campaign involving all of the firm’s offices and their respective communities. As part of its 150th anniversary, Howard & Howard will be working with various community and charitable groups in Michigan, Illinois, and Nevada, volunteering and donating more than $150,000 throughout 2019.
